‘Awakening’
This collection of paintings was inspired by profound change, connection to the universe, nature and the moments of peace and stillness. I depicted my muses in a lots of paintings in a meditative state, peaceful and serene in order to portray the state of the world that we had experienced earlier in spring. Where we all had to take a step back and just be with our self. For this exhibition I wanted to introduce the elements of nature to my paintings, something that I had never done before in my art. The title of the exhibition ‘Awakening’ is the description of our current time, where we are trying to get back to our normality after long sleep.
